How to create a flowchart

This guide talks you through creating your first flowchart in JTrack.

Creating a flowchart is a straightforward process that helps you build clear, actionable workflows. Follow these steps to create your own flowchart from scratch:

Step 1: Start a new flowchart

  • From the homepage, click Create New Flowchart.
  • Select start internal flowchart or start customer flowchart
  • Give your flowchart a name.
  • This takes you to the Flowchart Builder.

Step 2: Navigate the flowchart builder

  • The workspace is dynamic, allowing you to pan, zoom in, and zoom out.
  • All flowcharts automatically start with a Start Step.

Step 3: Add your first step

  • Click the flashing + symbol to start building your flowchart.
  • A modal appears where you can choose from different step types:
    • Form Step: Create a form for users or customers to fill out, branching the flowchart based on their responses.
    • Question Step: Ask users a question and branch the workflow based on their answers.
    • Information Step: Share information through an uploaded PDF or text created in the editor.

Step 4: Continue building out your flowchart

Continue adding different steps until your flowchart is complete. You’re now ready to run your first flowchart.
