This guide shows you other configuration options for flowchart steps. Edit and delete a step, and show information from a previous step.
When making a new step, the final modal enables you to configure the step. This enables you to:
You can also configure steps by clicking onto a step that has already been created.
Permissions enables you to limit access to steps to specific team members or send a step to customers (if you’re building a customer flowchart).
If you select customer facing you will not be able to select team members as this step will now be sent to the customer assigned to the run.
If it is an internal step you can give permission to as many team members as needed to access the step.
If you want all team members to access the step you can leave it blank.
When running the flowchart anyone that does not have access to the step will be informed.
This enables you to display information in a step that was collected in a previous step. For example, information that was collected in a form from a customer can be displayed in an internal facing question to provide the user with the information needed to answer the question.
When choosing information select from the drop down the information you need to display in the selected step. Any information from any of the steps can be displayed.
Configuring steps properly gives you full control over your workflows in JTrack. By setting permissions and showing information from earlier steps, you can guide users smoothly through your process and make sure they have exactly what they need at each stage.
